Self employment refers to launch one`s own business, sometimes even while still working or doing part time job (Whiteling, 2009),

A self employed person is a person with no boss, but has a market as his or her own boss
(Balkin, 1989).

Self employed person can be found in all occupation including farmers,craftsmen,shopkeepers,lawyers,doctors,architects,entertainers,sportsmen and women,computer programmers and analysts, among others
(Blanchflower,1998)
