Necessity driven entrepreneur versus Opportunity driven entrepreneur

Herrington, Kew, Simrie, and Turton, (2011) defined necessity driven entrepreneur as entrepreneur forced to become an entrepreneur due to a lack of options in life, while opportunity driven entrepreneur as a person in an active choice based on the identification and exploitation of an opportunity.
